Description:
Upon identification of the threatened species Eucalyptus rudderi (Rudders Box) during the master planning phase of the project, Arterra together with the client lead a program of seed collection and propagation to ensure the continued survival of the species. Council experts calculated less than 300 specimens remained in the region. Existing bushland containing the trees was retained and protected during site planning and construction. Arterra also prepared a draft plan of management for all the public open spaces and a vegetation management plan for the riparian and native vegetation assets to be retained on the site.
