REDBANK NORTH RICHMOND, PARKS & STREETS
Client :
North Richmond Joint Venture
Description:
We provided landscape master planning and urban design for all public open spaces, parks and streetscapes in this 1400 lot, greenfield subdivision. Our site planning and design integrated and interpreted historic 'keyline irrigation' principles that were pioneered by PA Yeomans on this property during the 1950s.
Upgraded community facilities will include dog off-leash area, sports fields, all weather multisport courts, skate plaza, BMX/ mountain bike dirt jumps track and an all-weather 'pump track' all designed in-house by Arterra.
Arterra also provided consulting arborist advice including a site-wide tree inventory and assessment to inform site earthworks, street and lot layouts. We identified key areas of the site for tree protection and integration within the parks and public open space network.
Arterra also prepared a street tree master plan for the estate, together with advice on preferred tree species selection for the Redbank North Richmond DCP.
