Sovereign Hills Pty Ltd engaged Arterra to prepare a vegetation management plan (VMP) for the Partridge Creek riparian corridor of Sovereign Hills in Port Macquarie. Partridge Creek was identified to contain valuable remnant bushland, vulnerable species, and Endangered Ecological Communities, all of which required protection and preservation. The VMP specified the protection strategies for important existing vegetation, proposed revegetation of the cleared areas and buffer zones, proposed weed and feral animal control, compensatory planting and ongoing monitoring and maintenance regimes.
