Arterra was involved from site planning to final handover, providing landscape architecture and consulting arborist services for this aged care project.
Protection of existing trees was a priority for this complex project. Arterra worked closely with the architect, civil engineer and builder to provide innovative landscape design solutions and industry leading consulting arborist advice for tree protection during the demolition of the old facilities and subsequent construction of the new.
Retaining and integrating mature trees in the development provided an instant, mature landscape setting, softening and settling the new buildings into the site while providing interest in views from within the building.
