Description:
Hornsby Council planned a shared pedestrian and cycle path from Kangaroo Point through sensitive coastal mangroves, to connect it with an existing, and similar coastal walk at Brooklyn.
Arterra was engaged to inspect and assess the mangrove trees and other vegetation along the proposed route to determine the likely impacts from the works. We provided advice on the tree conditions and possible tree pruning to allow the works to proceed. When necessary, we identified and proposed suitable route adjustments to enable Council to minimise the environmental and tree impacts of the proposed works.
