Three large remnant Sydney Blue Gums were retained as part of the proposed aged care facility. The client requested the trees be valued for the purpose of insurance against damage during construction. Using a recognised industry valuation method the trees were valued at $51000, $56000 and $173000 each, a total of $281000. Arterra managed appropriate protection and maintenance measures for the trees before, during and after construction. Detailed root mapping was also carried out to assist with appropriate building and site planning.
