In July 2013 and again in 2017, Arterra was engaged to undertake an arboricultural inventory and assessment of approximately 600 trees at Newington’s Senior Campus in Stanmore.  The project was challenging, due to the site’s extensive history and ever changing landscape since earthworks first began for the College back in 1876. Arterra identified, tagged and assessed all the trees within and immediately surrounding the College grounds.  We then produced a detailed tree management plan together with a database of detailed information to assist the ongoing management of the trees and landscape of the College.  The tree management database was produced in a format that could ultimately be used in the College’s asset management system. Our work has also included similar assessments of the school’s other campuses at Lindfield and Cambridge Street, Stanmore.
