Tree retention was a key component of this controversial site. Arterra were instrumental in the site planning that accommodated circulation, parking, signage and stormwater detention within pockets of remnant trees. We produced a detailed and accurate 3D digital model of the site and photomontages to communicate the design to the various stakeholders. This formed part of the successful Land & Environment Court submission. Arterra have been involved in a strategic planning role for many other restaurants since 2000.
