Arterra was part of a team providing Council with an “options” report to investigate and guide decision makers and stakeholders with regard to several potential cycle routes for the completion of a missing east-west link between surrounding suburbs and the Manly CBD.  This commission involved looking at options for providing a cycle route through a portion of the renowned coastal walkway - The Manly Scenic Walkway.  It also involved looking at other on and off road solutions and presenting these in a holistic report comparing cost, aesthetic, social, traffic and environmental considerations.  The project also involved a workshop with Council Committee members and Councillors to present the findings and discuss the merits of the various options.  The report went a long way to resolving a long running dispute between various stakeholders.
