Arterra was engaged by Hurstville City Council to review a stormwater and engineering report prepared for the creek line feeding into Lime Kiln Bay at Oatley in Sydney’s south. Arterra reviewed the site and prepared a Master Plan that illustrated how a constructed wetland and other associated infrastructure elements could be accommodated into the degraded riparian environment and protect the slat marsh and mangrove areas of Lime Kiln Bay and Georges River. This masterplan was used for community consultation processes and formed the basis for the final engineering plans to construct the wetland and associated recreational pathways and bridges that surrounded the wetland. The project was constructed and completed at the end of 2000.
