Arterra was engaged to design an upgrade for 500m of the main street running through the central business district of Campsie. Arterra provided an overall master plan illustrating the proposed landscape treatments. Key initiatives included a complete upgrade of pavement materials, introduction of an innovative precast wall system protecting pedestrians in close proximity to traffic and restricting unwanted pedestrian movements across the roadway. Our work also included robust signage and lighting solutions and the selection of new street furniture and planting. The design was conveyed using state-of-the-art 3d renders to show the proposed design and was well received by the Council and the local community. It was adopted and implemented by the Council throughout 2007.
